Lucy came to live with us in 2010 here at  The Havanese House. Yuying and I were looking on the internet for a new male stud to add some color to our kennel when we found Lucy and Cloe. We loved the colors, the huge eyes and beautiful face that Lucy has, so we called the breeder that was selling her and found out that due to health reasons, they were selling their farm and moving.   After I read her pedigree  , Yuying and I were in our car the next weekend driving to Alabama to pick up this little beauty.
  Lucy has a very fun and playful nature. She loves to play in our backyard, and spends every spare minute keeping the squirrels away from our bird feeders. She seems to have an endless amount of energy until she comes inside, where she must lay on anyone's lap that is sitting on our sofa.

Missi is the sweetest and most gentle Havanese we have ever seen. She is highly intelligent, well mannered and is the guardian of our family. She is very gentle with all children and puppies that we may have in our home, but when a stranger comes to our house, she will always remain near our children until she has decided if the person is trustworthy. In our home, her favorite place is to lay on is our sofa back so she can watch over everyone.
As a mother, Missi has produced some very beautiful puppies. Her litters will consist of 5 to 6 puppies, ranging in colors from pure white, bright gold, white and cream parti and even fawn. She is the largest of our females weighing 10 and 1/2 pounds. Her coat, when  kept  longer, is a soft white with a golden blond overcoat.

When Yuying and I went to Alabama to pick up Lucy, we found her sister Cloe at the same kennel, and we could not leave without her. She has the biggest eyes and the most gentle face that you have ever seen. She is considered a brindle and Irish pied in color that together gives almost the effect of calico.  She is very attached to Lucy and we could not stand the thought of separating these sisters. As soon as we returned to Michigan, I was so grateful that we came home with both sisters; Cloe is a real ray of sunshine.
  Cloe also has a personality that can be read in those big eyes. She is very gentle and shy and almost immediately became attached to Yuying. She is a very sweet girl and loves to sit next to my wife and cuddle. It did not take long for Cloe to steal the hearts of our entire family. Whenever my daughters are watching TV, Cloe will very slowly work her way up on the sofa and move little by little, until she is laying either next to them, or on top of them.

Gloria is our smallest female at just 7 lbs. She is a beautiful cream and red in color and so far has produced for us gold and black and tans. being smaller in size, she generally has smaller litters with smaller sized puppies when full grown.
She is a very intelligent Havanese that loves contact and attention. She is very affectionate and caring but seems to have a preference for children over adults. This is due to her playful nature and also her very nurturing and loving personality. If you are looking for smaller Havanese puppies this is the mom for you.

 

 

 

Happi was our first Havanese and the one little girl that was the beginning of  The Havanese House. We found Happi in western Indiana and fell in love with her . She is a smaller size Havanese of 7 and 1/2 pounds and is the true queen of our castle. Although she is our smallest, she is still the one that demands the most attention. She has a very outgoing personality and is the first to greet any visitor to our home.
 

We found Cause in Florida in 2005, and what a wonderful little guy he is. Cause has an exceptional coat and color. He is a pearly white with creme brulee ears. He has the huge black eyes and the perfect black Havanese nose, lips, and foot pads that accent his appearance. His personality is very sweet and every child that sees him, thinks that he has to be a toy. He is very gentle and has an outgoing personality that makes him irresistible. His size is on the smaller side, and now at 5 years he has finally broke the 8 pound mark.
The puppies that Cause has sired have all been adorable. Great genetics makes great puppies, and it shows in all of Cause's puppies. Every puppy you see on our "adopted puppies" page, Cause has sired. I believe the good genetics that you see in Cause comes directly from his great-grandfather "Mucho Bravo Wild Willy".
